Our purpose is to establish an identity and sense of community for women’s soccer in the Western Region. Developing women's soccer in the Western Region is a challenging task. Which is why we work in partnership with the clubs, provincial body and other soccer organizations in the Western Region. With their help we hope to establish women's soccer leagues, camps and tournaments. Our main objective is to create interest in soccer for women in the Western Region. We plan to do this by increasing programming and forming clubs. This will benefit the development of the sport, create retention and increase recruitment efforts for our sr. women’s teams and UNB Varsity Reds. We would like to create a sense of community by organizing clubs and senior teams for players to aspire to. We plan on exploiting all possible resources such as the indoor bubble and the turf on Chapman field. We are lucky enough to have the University of New Brunswick in our region. We hope that by developing soccer in this region at the youth and senior level, we will help build the program of the UNB Varsity Reds women's team. Our goal is to keep local players in Fredericton to play for the UNB Varsity Reds.
